To top the stay off we spent the evening in the hot tub once the sun had set and could see hundred of stars and the Milky Way. Special place would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about booking.

Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat is a chalet situated in Volcano, 16 km from Kilauea and 9.6 km from Volcano National Park's entrance. Offering free private parking, the chalet is 15 km from Thomas A Jaggar Museum. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. We loved everything about the accomodation. The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. We really appreciated the breakfast. The owner baked daily cakes and prepared fresh fruit. Best breakfast ever!! Free parking space was also a plus!
