Among the eight different accommodations (motels, serviced apartment, hotels etc.) I stayed during my 2-week New Zealand trip, this place is on the top two :) Highly recommended!

Situated in Lake Tekapo in the Canterbury region, Two Thumbs Unit 1 features a garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is 46 km from Mt. Dobson, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. Bathroom was spotless and much larger than I expected. Good water pressure, too. Kitchen was decently equipped. Hosts were responsive when we had questions about how to use certain appliances.

It was fun to do a farm tour and pet and feed the animals and the jacuzzi under the stars was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.
