Since I brought a dog, just adopted at a nearby shelter I needed a safe place where we both felt comfortable and welcome. I couldn't have found a better place. Irene was very accommodating and gave us a warm welcome. She selected the best flat for us safe for the dog and did anything to support us. The staff and Irene's son were also wonderful. The beautiful lush garden and pool with comfortable common spaces are a paradise.. The long beach opposite is great for long walks and swimming. The only restaurant at the beach unfortunately doesn't want guests with dogs so make sure you got a car to go around.

Rooms are spacious and equipped with all the necessary appliances. Prices are good. What made a great impression to me is hospitality and Miltos.A bottle of water, a bottle of wine and a few fruits were on the table as a welcoming gift. Miltos was eager to help me and provided a couple of blankets on my request. Most important, he helped me on a light health issue a faced in a manner a relative would. Thank you, Miltos!

Super, very generous size, balcony overlooking the Libyan Sea with comfortable director's chairs and solid table to eat out at. Unexpected, and very welcome, starter pack of tea, coffee, milk, toasts, butter and jam to cover breakfast the morning after arrival. Books in reception in a variety of languages for taking/swapping - such a good idea, and ignored by many.

We had a wonderful 7-night stay at the Koutsounari Traditional Cottages, it couldn't have been more perfect! The cottages are managed by Ioanna, a charming host who runs the property with love and dedication. She warmly welcomed us, serving homemade lemonade during check-in while providing us with a list of recommendations for eating out and sightseeing in the area. We tried almost all the tavernas she suggested and enjoyed each one of them. The cottage, exemplifying traditional local architecture, has been beautifully restored with attention to every detail. It offers everything you need, including comfortable beds, a small but well-equipped kitchen, and even a lovely set of welcoming gifts and complimentary Korres toiletries in the bathroom. The highlight is the stunning private terrace that overlooks the Libyan Sea, making you want to stay there forever! If you appreciate local tradition and seek a more unique and sustainable experience compared to a typical hotel room, you will likely love this super charming accommodation as much as we did. I had an excellent stay for one night in this incredible hotel. My suite was very clean, spacious and with nice decoration. Safebox, kitchenete, refrigerator and microwave inside my room, made my stay more comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and had many choices. Fitness centre, business centre, massage, hot tub, luggage storage, ironing service were a few of the too many facilities. The pool side was super too, with sunbeds and umbrellas and the hotel had also a free parking for the guests. So relaxing and unique. Staff were genteel and friendly, I will definitely come back next year with my friends.

Gorgeous place in the outskirts of the mountain and close to the beach. You feel like you are in Santorini’s houses thanks to the owner. The doggi-guide is also incredible. It led us to an amazing waterfall in the mountain.

The house was in perfect cretan style, in an enchanting village in the mountains above Myrtos. (20 minutes drive) It was perfectly equipped, everthing clean and new. The owners were extremely kind and helpful, they offered us an exquisite Greek salad upon arrival and the fridge was full of fruits, water and obviously Raki. Thanks for this wonderful hospitality and time in authetic Crete!
