While this is a couple of kilometres or more from the centre of Dresden, it was easy to acccess the city centre by bus, and the walk from the station, though up a gentle slope, is manageable unless you have heavy luggage. As this is a self-catering arrangement, the Konsum store across the road is very convenient.
