Just a little too short for only one night haha I would need an extra night at least! an amazing hotel, with an excellent view of the Mont Blanc (specially from the jacuzzi). The room vas very comfortable, the shower excellent, the stuff was nice and helpful, the hotel provides you with a free card for the local bus (which we didn't use, because we had our car). The breakfast was really good, and love the common room. The parking is for free :)

It was a good time at Chamonix with a friendly staff. I arrived earlier (like 2 or 3 hours) and they gave me the room before the checkin time which was awesome. I also requested a charge becaause the one that I had was from Italy, not France, and they got one inmediately.

Chamonix is a beautiful town with a pleasant atmosphere. We were here for the hockey tournament, but we also came to see Mont Blanc from the viewpoint on the A. du Midi. The views from there were breathtaking. We also saw the Mer de Glace glacier.

The month of May is not a good time to visit.
The month of May is not a good time to visit. The snow has gone but summer is not here yet. In this twilight zone between winter and summer it is just one of many tourist towns that is instantly forgettable. We regret we didn’t stay just across the border in Martigny which has so much culture that is completely lacking in Chamonix. The only visitors to this town seemed to be bucket-price tour groups from the far east.

I am slightly disabled in that my mobility is restricted by arthritis. Chamonix is a beautiful town in itself but it can be difficult to get around at night.I wanted to check out the live music scene but had real difficulty with transport.Although it is free,or cheap all day it is nearly impossible to get a taxi (unless I have been calling the wrong numbers!).I was told by some locals that they are tied up doing airport runs, how true this is I don't know. I think if you have similar problems then book a long time ahead or online.Otherwise the place is brilliant you have breathtaking views of the high mountains above, alpine meadows and a town that wants for nothing. It is easy to visit Les houches Argentiere and all the beautiful ski areas, even if you can't ski there are mountain railways and cable cars. Expensive but well with it. It is becoming my second home now.

A many time visitor, easy to get about on buses or train and some of the best off-piste there is anywhere. Looking forward to the re-opening of the top cable car so the biggest / best runs will be accessible once again. CMD make sure you don't go down the road Vial and Alterra have taken (selling season passes and driving up day tickets to drive sales of these products and thus maxing out their profits) - On vous voyons!!

The hotel was great, we had everything we could want, the location was close to city center, steps away from the cable car Aguille de Midi.
The rooms were spotless clean, more than decent size, sleep quality was good.
The staff was helpful and nice.
The fact that you have an in house spa, underground parking and ski lockers is a big bonus.
We can only recommend Cristal de Jade for a great stay in Chamonix.
Loved that the hotel communicated with us various times before arriving and provided us helpful information, they recommended where to hire our ski equipment and also arranged 2 private ski lessons for us. The hotel itself had a homely feel, we had a lovely big one bedroom apartment with the most breathtaking view! Breakfast was nice and location ideal, just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Chamonix.
Very cute and cozy hotel, probably the best value in Chamonix. Fabulous location, you can walk everywhere in town, private paid parking. We had a superior room with balcony that had a gorgeous view of the mountains. Staff is super friendly and very enthusiastic. Beds are comfy, breakfast is very nice and in a lovely breakfast room. Very nice and comfy lounge. Super Alpine nostalgic decor.
Very nice concept hotel - cool lobby with different common spaces for activities and relax (bowling, games room, billiard, sofas, tables etc.). Sparkling clean and comfortable dorms room. We stayed 8 people in 10 bed dorms and enjoyed it very much. Very convenient beds with personal lighting, shelf, socket, cupboard. Perfect location - in city center and just next to Chamonix Sud station

The three staff who we came across two days were amazing. Specially the 2 girls at check-in. The hotel has no lift and we were staying on the 3rd floor with 2 huge suitcases. One of the girl offered to help us carry them, which we thought were 5 star customer service! And after we checked out I left my ear rings in the room so the girl called me to notify me.
We loved the convenient location close to town center and multiple bus lines, our spacious room and the warm hospitality of the hotel’s staff. An added bonus was the spectacular view from our room which really was unbeatable! Everyone at La Sapinière went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We’ll definitely be back!
Family owned hotel with cozy rooms. Very well located and in a quiet surrounding. The rooms were cozy and comfy. The breakfast was plentiful with fresh croissants and homemade crepes. Had lovely conversations with the owner.
Just perfect. The view of Mont Blanc from the room, the SPA, the staff and the location! Everything is even better than the pictures. They even gave us gifts.
Highly recommended if you are looking for a hotel in Chamonix.
Hotel and staff were very nice.
The location was excellent and the ski boot room was perfect. The spa was nice too.
Cleanliness was very good, the cleaners do an excellent job.
Receptionists were all very welcoming.
The hotel is located near the Chamonix train station, offering a stunning view of Aiguille du Midi when you walk out of the main entrance. The apartment is super clean, calm, and the facilities are convenient.
Cheap and cheerful, very good location bang on in the centre of Chamonix with quick access to all the restaurants and bar. Great room size with great big shower and big towels.
The location was great, very central. The hotel was cheap by Chamonix standards, especially given we booked very last minute as other plans fell through.
