I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Toyoko Inn in Gangnam, Seoul, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. As part of the renowned Toyoko Inn chain, this hotel maintains the high standards of comfort, cleanliness, and service that the brand is known for. One of the standout features of Toyoko Inn Gangnam is its affordability. Despite being located in one of Seoul's most vibrant and upscale districts, the hotel offers very reasonable rates. This makes it an excellent choice for both business travelers and tourists who want to enjoy the best of Gangnam without breaking the bank.

A 8 days in seoul is nice.
A 8 days in seoul is nice. Personally I like Myeong-dong area for shopping and eating. If you have time go to Nami Island.
For everland, I just find it a little hilly and big and a bit far. I still prefer Lotte world where there is aircon.
Other places are good to walk and run around such as city hall to see palaces.
Han river walk is pretty good for me too.
Going in End May weather is pretty good - can wear shorts.
Namshan I ran there from my place of stay at seoul station. Not that far. Nice cool walk up there.
Cafe pokpo is quite good. Take a cab there.
Suwon Starfield - not fantastic.
Lastly their bread is ok in pricing comparable price with breadtalk. What I do miss is my Yakun in Singapore.
Normal Cabs are not expensive. Public train is pretty reliable and very affordable.

Seoul really exceeded my expectations.
Seoul really exceeded my expectations. The mixture of old (or at least made to look old!) and new is really interesting. The food is great, even for a mostly vegan eater like me. It feels dafe. It's easy to get around. It can be relatively inexpensive and still comfortable. And for some I guess the shopping and skincare industries would be a big draw.

We had done a 3 city tour across South Korea, including Daegu, Busan and Seoul. Each of the cities were mesmerizing and unique vibes.
Seoul, being a capital City was definitely outstanding.
The public transport is absolutely seamless. With Naver Maps you can navigate easily.
Listing out few must visit places.
1. Myeongdong street
2. Zeta plex Hypermarket next to Seoul Station
3. Namasan Tower
4. Gangam
5. Myeongdong Kyoja (Michelin star restaurant))
My personal fav was Korea Shooting Club located at myeongdong street. Tried live ammunition firing. Will highly recommend the place

8-10 days is the perfect amount of time to rest and see the most important things. Food is absolutely amazing and the views are even better. Perfect fusion of the modern world and the traditional Korea.
Location was great, super close to public transit and central to Myongdong area. You are also within walking distance of countless restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Definitely sign up for rewards program if you plan to visit again. I was given an upgrade during my second stay at Lotte between traveling back and forth from Seoul to Busan. Lotte is a popular chain all throughout Korea so we stayed in multiple Lotte hotels and they were great. Always near public transit, department stores and restaurants.
Perfect place to stay if you're visiting Seoul, the room was a good size, comfortable and even had a bath. the staff couldn't be more helpful.
It's situated 5 minutes walk to myeongdong shopping streets, it was very easy to go around the city from the hotel.
We liked this place so much, that we ended up canceling another place we had in the city to stay here.
They even offer a cheap hold luggage service, which allowed us to travel light when going to other town.
Would definitely stay here again.
Location is second to none. Staff are best I have ever seen in South Korea. Truly they went on they way to make us feel
welcomes and comfortable. They make feel at home and nothing too much of a trouble to ask. Breakfast spread is very good. I have used the business center and it was an excellent service. The rooms are very spacious and house keeping are very professional. Loved my stay and I will come back and stay in this wonderful hotel
It's a before and after experience. Once you have been through a few other hotels in Korea, you will realize that this one is really well thought through. Especially for folks from outside Korea. For example, coin laundry, English speaking staff, shower, toilet with bidet, rooftop seating, refill for drinking water (I don't like using new plastic bottles everytime), optional breakfast (this could be made slightly cheaper), access to bus stops, subway etc.
We loved this hotel. The hotel is right at the exit of a metro station with 3 different metro lines (especially the line 5 that connects it to Gimpo airport).
Our room was big and very clean and well organized
There is a nice rooftop, and the breakfast is both international and Korean.
It is really close to the main historical buildings of the city and the neighborhood is safe and with a lot of restaurants.
I would definitely suggest it.
Took my two grown sons to experience Seoul. Location was convenient. Five minute walk to Myeongdong Airport Bus Stop, subway station, and Myeongdong. Three beds for much cheaper than a regular hotel. Enough room for three adults to store luggage and move around. Rooftop deck had great views of N Seoul Tower and surrounding area. Not a five star hotel but certainly served our purposes, we enjoyed our five nights and would stay again.
We had the most best experience staying at Four Points thanks to Nancy at Front desk. Nancy was friendly and courteous who was always super informative with everything we needed. Thank you so much for providing a 5 star service Nancy! Room was very spacious, location was so great walking distance to Myeondong markets and hotel was surrounded with good restaurants all around. Definitely coming back to stay there again next time.
This hotel is just a walking distance from Myeongdong Station and several convenience stores which made touring around hassle-free.
It is also just a few minutes away from Myeongdong Shopping District and Night Market which allowed us to taste several authentic Korean Street Food and buy souvenirs without going too far.
Best of all, the room and bathroom are clean which made our stay comfortable even at an affordable rate.
After experiencing some noise from the room next door, the kind man working the night shift did all he could to ensure our comfort. He moved us up to the 10th floor , which meant the rest of our stay was perfect!
Our first time in South Korea and I cannot recommend this Hotel enough!
Really accommodating and friendly staff, even though some morning staff have limited English, they do all they can through translator!
The owner and his friend are very helpful and kind, we never had this experience in a hostel in korea before, they will try their best to make your stay confortable, they will provide you everything you need, they even cooked for us twice.
The location is perfect, it's just 2 minute from Myeongdong (with subway)
The room is confortable and big comparing to what you get with this price in Seoul.
Good breakfast, cozy room, close to the exhibition center.
Turn right out of the hotel to eat is more expensive, turn left and walk 100 meters to eat is cheaper.
Turn left out of the hotel and walk about 150 meters, there is a local Korean supermarket.
Take the airport bus 6703, get off at the POSCO building station and walk to the hotel.
Went to korea for our honeymoon and the Intercontinental made it our special time feel even more special. The service in this hotel is top notch and we felt very well taken care off. I will definitely stay again the next time on back to korea, it's the best 5 star hotel me and my husband have stayed at so far in terms of service and care.
This is a great hotel located near the Myeongdong Market and Lotte Department Store. It is close to the bus stop and many restaurants. The rooms are clean and are cleaned daily. The service is excellent, and considering the location, the price is great. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Korea.
Got a free room upgrade
Very nice room for Korea 2 star, western 3 star. If I hadn't know the rating, the room is closer to 4 or 4.5 star quality. But the lobby is very small, so the rest of the hotel wasn't as impressive.
Service desk was helpful, but not all could speak English that well
Room size is good and decent. Location wise, it’s near to the subway and airport limousine bus stop. Lots of eateries and a convenience store at the lobby. Self laundry at B3. Nothing to complain about. Will choose to stay at this hotel again should I visit Korea again
If I have chance to visit Korea, I would love to stay ENA Hotel. Not only location, hotel facilities and staff also surround hotel. There are many restaurants for local people. Most of restaurants provide nice service with reasonable price and tasty food.
Very good upper midscale hotel, just like the other GLAD properties in Korea. Staff is friendly and efficient. Well connected right next to Mapo subway station, with direct access from ICN via the local airport express train.
It was one of the best hostels in Korea I've been to. cheapest price. comfortable room. entertainment around. friendly host. This place. It's the perfect space. I will definitely visit again!!
